PREMIUM FRENCH WINES SELECTION

We select the grapes following grape variety, soil, and maturity.

Alcohol degree: 13%

Grape varieties: 100% cabernet sauvignon

Soil: Brown sandy clay, poor in organic material, and rich in lime and chalk.

Winemaking process: Traditional winemaking with maceration in stainless-steel temperature controlled tanks. Aged in tank. Bottled in the region of production.

Domaine des Frères Gilles is in charge of bottling this wine. The company was created in 1970. All the work, from vine growing to winemaking is taking care of by the family and year after year, they managed to expand their vineyards that represent 100 hectares nowadays.

Tasting notes: An intense and deep red color. The nose is spicy with red fruits notes. A frank attack, taste of blackcurrant and roasted sweet pepper, which lead to a round and rich note.

Service: Best serve with “winter dish” as well as red meat and cheese platter. Temperature of service: between 14 °and 16°C.
