PREMIUM FRENCH WINES SELECTION

Area: Bordeaux Protected Designation of Origin (AOC) is one of the largest designation located in the Southwest of France, running along the Atlantic coast and also the Dordogne and Garonne river. Those conditions create the perfect temperate environment to grow grapes. Thanks to traditional process as well as the use of high-end technologies, winegrowers are able to produce high quality wines. The proximity of the river as well as the quality of the soils gave birth to an unique terroir, resulting in wines with rich flavour and personality. The vineyard is located in Saint Pey de Castests village and is own by Mr Fauries.

Grape varieties: 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc.

Soil: a mix of clay, siliceous and limestone hills.

Winemaking process: Traditional Bordeaux winemaking with maceration in stainless temperature controlled tanks. Aged in tank. Bottled in the region of production.

Tasting notes: A classic red wine, with a fruity hint and mellow tannins. The taste is very pleasing and can suit any palate.

Service: To be served with barbecue, red meat and cheese platter. Temperature of service: between 16° and 18°C.

Vintage 2011: Bronze medal at Paris 2012.

Vintage 2012: Gold medal at Paris 2013.

Vintage 2014: Gold medal at Bordeaux 2015.

Vintage 2015: Silver medal at Bordeaux and Paris 2016.
